Please do Not Flush Needles

The Hayti Police Department would like to remind everyone, especially those living around the hospital, please Do Not flush needles. Contact your Health Department, Hospital, or Ambulance Station to properly dispose of your used needles. You may also buy a very affordable Sharps container at Walmart or other department stores. The needles that are being flushed are causing major damages to lift stations within our city clogging them up and making them break down. Each time a lift station goes down it effects all residents in that area. Thank you!
